One position group that I believe Oregon has to feel uncertain about this spring is linebacker. The unit shed some depth this offseason and that could be made up for with the addition of someone like Henry To’o To’o from Tennessee.

The Volunteers parted ways with Jeremy Pruitt this offseason and they’ve experienced a mass exodus on the roster. To’o To’o wasn’t listed on the roster this spring because he wanted to test the portal waters and he’s doing just that. There hasn’t been a ton of talk about potential landing spots for him just yet outside of a planned visit to Ohio State — the Buckeyes may also be in the running for USC linebacker transfer Palaie Gaoteote.

To’o To’o is 247Sports‘ No. 1 rated uncommitted linebacker transfer right now and he’s going to have a long line of potential suitors. Oregon should join that line.

The Concord, Calif., native has 140 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, four pass deflections and an interception through two collegiate seasons with Tennessee.

In the 2019 class, To’o To’o was ranked the No. 44 overall recruit and third-best outside linebacker, according to 247Sports.
