2. Miami Dolphins (No. 6 overall)

Do the Dolphins need an offensive tackle? No, they are in need of an interior offensive lineman even more so, but Miami would have a tough time saying “no thanks” to the best tackle in the class and a guy who is legitimately a future All-Pro.

The Dolphins pick No. 6 overall, so there’s a decent chance Penei Sewell isn’t even available at this point, but if the Falcons and Bengals pass up on him, Miami needs to pounce.

The biggest needs for Miami heading into the draft are receiver, edge rusher, running back, tight end, and interior offensive lineman. They could get a guy like DeVonta Smith or Ja’Marr Chase at No. 6, stretch for an edge rusher here or trade back, pick Kyle Pitts, and they’ll have to wait until their second pick of the first round to realistically take a running back.

If they decide to go with a lineman and Sewell is available, what would it hurt to take the best lineman available if he’s there?

Sewell is going to make one team in the top-10 very happy and protecting Tua Tagovailoa’s blindside in the early stages of his career as the two develop solid chemistry would be fantastic.

The future in Miami is already bright so this would be a great fit for Sewell.
