Mario Cristobal is building a winner. After winning the Pac-12 title in 2020, the head coach quickly got back to work and made sure he recruited one of the best classes in the country for 2021 and addressed some serious needs.

Although he did lose some players to the transfer portal, he will undoubtedly be adding a couple of transfers himself after spring ball and into the summer — at least that’s the assumption.

Oregon is already one of the most talented teams in college football and the clear favorite to win the Pac-12 title again. If all goes as planned, the Ducks will not only win the conference but also they would represent the Pac-12 in the College Football Playoff. The Ducks haven’t made the playoff since 2014 and they put up a 1-1 record, losing to Ohio State in the title game.

Cristobal is close to getting Oregon back to Chip Kelly-type days when the Ducks were feared nationally and 2021 could be a special year.

It all begins this offseason and with a solid spring. While spring is winding down with the annual scrimmage next weekend, it’s a good time to look at which opponents may be the toughest for the Ducks next season.

Running the table won’t be easy, especially with these three opponents on the schedule. Who are the toughest opponents on the 2021 schedule?
