I can’t be the only one who is buying all the Devon Williams stock possible before the 2021 season, right? The redshirt sophomore receiver had his best collegiate season in 2020, catching 15 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns and he looked like he could be that go-to guy for Oregon.

Before 2020, Williams had five career catches for 98 yards and the USC transfer was an afterthought in the receiving corps.

Williams was the No. 40 overall recruit in the 2020 class and sixth-best receiver recruit, so he was ranked highly for a reason. He flashed that potential last season and showcased big-play ability, averaging 19.1 yards per reception.

Although Oregon has a loaded receiver room and I could have picked like 3-4 guys to be breakout candidates from the group, Williams is my top choice. I think he could lead the Ducks in receiving this season and I don’t get why he’s not widely considered a lock as a starter. That’ll change.
