This is going to be that rematch circled on every single Oregon players’ schedule next season because Utah embarrassed the Ducks twice to end the 2021 campaign. Utah dismantled Oregon in Salt Lake City at the end of the regular season and then two games later in the Pac-12 title game which caused the Ducks to miss out on the Rose Bowl.

Utah is going to be probably the best team in the Pac-12 next season and I think that this will be the Ducks’ second-toughest challenge of the season.

Cameron Rising will out-duel Ty Thompson and Bo Nix and this will be one of those “what if” losses for Oregon that will haunt fans for years. What if Oregon won this game? This loss will likely be the nail in the playoff race coffin.

Final Score: Utah 30, Oregon 28 (9-2, 7-1)

Oregon State ends the season in a Rivalry Week battle with Oregon and with it being in Corvallis, this will be a huge test for the Ducks.

No, I don’t think Oregon State is going to be a contender next season, but after a crushing loss that knocked them out of the playoff the week before, how will the Ducks respond? With a division title still on the line and a potential New Year’s Six bowl berth, I think Dan Lanning will have his guys ready to go.
