Junior defensive tackle A'Mauri Washington, 6-3, 330, completed the set for the Ducks as he announced he's returning for 2026.

His announcement follows breaking news by Bear Alexander, Teitum Tuioti and Matayo Uiagalelei, all deciding to return to Oregon for their senior years. This gives the Ducks one of the most formidable, veteran defensive lines in the country, four warriors, united in purpose.

Washington is the run stuffer and disruptor in the middle, a strong man who clogs the running game and pushes the pocket back in the quarterback's face. He started all 15 games this season, emerging as a star with 33 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries and eight pass breakups.

He penetrates. He ties up blockers, He knocks away the ball. The big man from Detroit, Michigan will be even better next season after starting all 15 games in 2025.

His decision capped a momentous day for Oregon, just two days after their 56-22 loss to Indiana in the Peach Bowl. They added a five-star tight end from Penn State, took visits from a handful of top portal prospects and secured the nucleus of their defense. It's clear they're entering the year with a focused strategy.
