The Oregon Ducks and the Penn State Nittany Lions are headed to the Big Ten Championship game for just the fifth-ever matchup between the two programs. As the No. 1 Ducks and the No. 3 Nittany Lions prepare to face each other on the field, fans of both teams are flocking to the game.
Somewhat obviously, this is Oregon's first time in the Big Ten Championship as it's the Ducks' first season in the conference. Penn State has only appeared in the conference title game once before. The Big Ten Championship is set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN – the home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.

Penn State has won three of the four previous matchups between the two teams. So far this year, Penn State's only loss came against Ohio State who Oregon defeated by just one point earlier this season. No. 1 Oregon (12-0) and No. 3 Penn State (11-1) did not face each other during the regular season.
