The Oregon Ducks brand has become synonymous with success... and Nike... over the last few decades. The football team entered the Big Ten and took the conference by storm and made a run to the College Football Playoffs. Now, that same football program is getting a multimillion-dollar practice facility right by Autzen Stadium.

Just a few years ago, the Oregon athletic department announced a complete overhaul to the Moshofsky Center; the Ducks' indoor practice facility and adjacent outdoor football fields. On Monday, Feb. 17, construction on the new facility – dubbed – 2.MO" – began.

Unsurprisingly, the new facility is expected to have state-of-the-art equipment, spaces, and resources for the Oregon athletes and staff. The exterior will be predominantly glass with the beloved Oregon "O" design on the rooftop.

In mock-ups of the new facility, the original Moshofsky Center appears to still be featured amongst the array of Oregon football facilities (known as the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex), as well as the Ducks' stadium and then Casanova Athletic facility next door.

The project for the new facility was fully funded by donors and should allow for other teams, such as soccer and track, to have expanded access to the indoor Moshofsky Center. "2.MO" is expected to be ginormous at 140,000 square feet. The project will also include a 30,000-square-foot renovation of the entire Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.

While Oregon's 2025 football season doesn't begin until Aug. 30 when the Ducks host the Montana State Bobcats, the team is scheduled to take the field at Autzen on April 26 for its annual Spring Game. Hopefully, for players' and fans' sakes, the construction will be far enough along to not disrupt the perfect day.
