Every year, the Spring Game is a chance for the Ducks to show off their top talent as they clash in the classic green and yellow Oregon colors. This year, with Dillon Gabriel declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft, all eyes will be on the Ducks' projected starting quarterback, Dante Moore.
Last Spring Game, Moore earned 87 passing yards on 11 completions as well as 13 rushing yards. This time around, the veteran quarterback is expected to see a lot more field time as he has his first opportunity to prove his worth as Oregon's QB1.
Similarly, the game is a chance for Oregon's former second-string running back Noah Whittington to prove that the can meet the talent level of the Ducks' former starting running back Jordan James, who also declared for the upcoming Draft.
Whittington didn't see any snaps in the 2024 Spring Game as the running back was still rehabbing an injury. Over the 2024 season, Whittington earned an impressive 146 yards on 20 carries for six touchdowns alongside 136 receiving yards for two more touchdowns.
Fans can get into the Spring Game for free when the Ducks kick off at 1 p.m. PT on April 26. The baseball team will then play the Oregon State Beavers at 4:05 p.m. for a day filled with Oregon sports.
