It's officially official, five-star wide receiver prospect Dakorien Moore is set to sign with the Oregon Ducks on Wednesday, Dec. 4 after shutting down his recruitment process on Thursday, Nov. 21. On3's Hayes Fawcett initially shared the news that Moore had closed his recruitment and was ready to sign his name over to the Ducks.

Moore, who had initially committed to the LSU Tigers made a splash when he visited the LSU campus for the Tigers' game against the Alabama Crimson Tide but he repeatedly made it known that he was going to be a Duck.

Most recently, Moore was the only Duck commit who was included in the top 10 spots of the latest On300 rankings of the best prospects in the nation.

After decommitting from LSU, Moore committed to head coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks on July 4, 2024 – just two weeks after visiting the Oregon campus in Eugene. Moore is a five-star-plus athlete in the class of 2025 prospects and the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation.

According to 247Sports, Moore is the fourth-highest-rated athlete in the class and the No. 2 athlete coming out of Texas. The Duncanville, TX native also had offers from the Texas Longhorns, SMU Mustangs, Texas A&M Aggies, and Baylor Bears.

Moore is the biggest commit for the Ducks in the class of 2025, which is the No. 8 class in the nation. When he committed to Oregon in July, it was a huge step for Lanning towards cementing his team as a blue-blood program.

The wide receiver isn't the only five-star wideout in the class of future Ducks. Fellow WR Dallas Wilson is also committed to join Oregon next fall and five-star cornerback Brandon Finney is set to be an elite addition for the Ducks on the other side of the ball.
