The No. 1 Oregon Ducks just keep getting better. The Ducks are on track to bring in one of the top recruiting classes in 2025 and Oregon's 2026 class just gained a big-time defensive commitment.

Four-star defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo committed to head Dan Lanning, defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi, and the Ducks over programs such as the Tennessee Volunteers, USC Trojans, and Washington Huskies.

Mulitalo is ranked as the No. 2 defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2026 and the No. 2 athlete coming out of the state of Utah that year. Nationally, he is ranked as the No. 40 overall athlete according to 247Sports.

At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Mulitalo is a massive presence, especially as a junior in high school. His 77-inch wingspan is huge for a young defensive lineman, especially one who has the quickness to be a pass rusher in college. Not to mention, experts predict that he could reach a weight of 290 to 300 pounds by the time he would be on Oregon's roster.

Mulitalo is expected to be an interior lineman by the time he gets to college simply because of his domineering size. He has started for his high school, Lone Peak, since he was a freshman and will be a four-year starter for the program barring any injuries or other setbacks.

Watching Mulitalo's growth (both on the field and in his physical stature) over the next year and a half will be exciting for the Ducks as Lanning and his staff get ready for yet another exciting group of young recruits to join the squad.
