This fall, the Oregon Ducks have become synonymous with success. From an undefeated men's basketball team to the No. 1 football team in the nation, the Ducks know how to win.

Football head coach Dan Lanning has kept his foot on the recruiting gas pedal all year long and most recently, alongside men's basketball head coach Dana Altman, earned a big-time commitment from a two-sport athlete.

Kendre Harrison, the No. 1 tight end in the class of 2026, committed to the Ducks on Saturday morning, just a few hours before Oregon kicked off their final football game of the regular season against Washington as well as the men's basketball game in the Players Era Festival championship.

Harrison had offers from schools like Auburn, Michigan, North Carolina, and more that have elite programs in both sports. However, with Oregon's recent success across the board, it's hard to deny the Ducks any recruit that they go after.

Not only does Harrison play two sports, but he has also played on both sides of the line of scrimmage throughout his high school career. In 2022, Harrison played snaps both as a tight end as well as a defensive end for his squad.

When it comes to the basketball court, Harrison averaged a resounding 21.5 points and 15.1 rebounds as a freshman in high school.

Currently, Oregon has a beloved two-sport athlete Bryce Boettcher, who plays both football and baseball for the Ducks. Boettcher is a defensive star for the Ducks' football team and came up with big-time plays for the baseball squad as it made a run in the 2024 postseason.
