Steve Wiltfong and Brandon Huffman of On3 Sports have entered predictions for Dan Lanning and the Ducks to land a pair of defensive standouts in 2027 recruiting.

The first is Brayton Feister, a high school junior from Akron, Ohio who is built like an NFL player at 6-3, 230. Feister is a two-way star who posted 133 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 13 sacks last season while rushing for 1,098 yards. He has over 30 offers including Ohio State and Notre Dame.

He's won four state titles as a wrester, already 209 pounds by the time he was an eighth grader, starting on varsity as a freshman.

The second big win predicted for Chris Hampton and the Oregon defense is Donte Wright, the cornerback from Long Beach Poly, originally committed to Georgia. Wright is 6-1, 170, an incredibly fluid cover corner who also runs track with a top time of 10.69 in the 100 meters.

He's the No. 21 prospect and No. 3 cornerback in the 2027 class, a five-star prospect who makes an official visit to Eugene on June 19.

Wright and Feister continue Oregon's focus on elite competitors with next-level traits for their defense. The Jackrabbit standout made 25 tackles with seven pass breakups last season.
