The Oregon Ducks are currently in the middle of their second weekend of official visits in Eugene as the recruiting cycle heats up. This weekend brings some of Oregon's top targets to campus, but the two weekends that follow will be far more exciting with several 5-stars planning on making visits. While you pay the most attention to the players on campus, it's also important to watch where Oregon targets are taking their visits.
This weekend brought one of Oregon's top overall targets, and certainly the Ducks' top wide receiver target to campus with 4-star Dakota Guerrant visiting Eugene. While the Ducks look to close out the recruitment of Guerrant, it's hard not to look at Xavier Sabb's weekend plans with a level of concern.
Oregon target Xavier Sabb visits UCLA amid Bruins recruiting surge
One of the biggest stories of the recruiting cycle thus far has been the surge the UCLA Bruins have been on under new head coach Bob Chesney. The former James Madison head coach has the Bruins class ranked 12th in the country, and they're looking to continue their march up the rankings.
The latest major target for the Bruins should concern the Oregon Ducks a bit as 5-star wide receiver Xavier Sabb spent the weekend at UCLA.

The news of Xavier Sabb visiting UCLA came as a surprise, and it now creates another contender in this recruitment. Considering how hot the Bruins have been on the recruiting trail, it's not a great moment to go up against the new staff in any recruitment.
Xavier Sabb is a 5-star recruit, ranked as the 22nd ranked player in the country, the 4th ranked wide receiver in the class, and the top player out of New Jersey. Alabama has been seen as the biggest obstacle for Oregon to overcome in this recruitment as Sabb's two brothers are both currently playing for Kalen DeBoer at Alabama.
The good news for the Ducks is that while Sabb has taken official visits to LSU and UCLA thus far, he still hasn't committed. Oregon will get a chance to host Sabb on an official visit, and when the Ducks get him on campus, the staff will need to make a strong impression. The goal has been to sign Xavier Sabb and Dakota Guerrant at the position, and it appears that the battle to land Sabb will be the toughest of the two to win out in.
