Headlined by blue-chip committed players Will Mencl and Rashad Streets, the last weekend of the June official visit calendar is a blockbuster for Oregon.
Like a summer celebration at Eugene's Ninkasi Brewery, the Ducks have scheduled visits on tap from high-value targets like blur-fast five-star wide receiver Xavier Sabb, Chicago strong man Brayden Parks, the four-star defensive tackle, elite athlete Tae Walden, 6-5, 235 Motor City tight end Anthony Cartwright, monster middle linebacker and wrestling champion Brayton Feister from Ohio and mammoth interior offensive lineman Lex Mailangi from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.
The strategy is clear. Dan Lanning and the Ducks want to kick off the July commitment season with some powerful momentum and a flurry of viral recruiting news. Having Mencl and Streets, two dedicated peer recruiters in to co-host makes it an event, a World Cup of recruiting enthusiasm and a wave pool of positive vibes.
Some announcements will be made. The graphics and photo shoots will cause a stir. It's likely to kick the 2027 class ranking toward the Top 5.
The final OV weekend for Oregon is expected to be a BIG one 👀 🦆

It's already pretty good, featuring Mencl, Streets and five-star wide receiver Dakota Guerrant among 18 commitments, a class that currently ranks No. 7 in the 247Sports Composite.
Roll in a series of announcements from Parks, Sabb, Feister, Cartwright and Mailangi, and suddenly the Ducks are looking like a dynasty in the making, continuing to stack classes and difference-making football talent for seasons to come.
Eye-popping measurables and stratospheric stats dot a pivotal recruiting weekend
The secret sauce to accompany these world-class Cajun tater tots is a spicy mix of talent and work ethic. Take Feister, a former national champion in wrestling with a 41-inch vertical leap who can bench 225 pounds 41 times. Last season at Hoban High the 6-3 230 running back/linebacker posted 133 tackles and rushed for 1,098 yards.
The intensity and competitiveness in this Akron, Ohio product make him a throwback inside linebacker, a Bryce Boettcher attitude with a J-Stew physique.
Sabb fits that athletic profile as well, a potential X-factor for the Oregon offense with 10.6 speed and a 42-inch vertical jump, a 20-points a game guy in basketball, down to Oregon, Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and UCLA.
He's high on Mencl's wish list for the 2027 receiver corps after scorching New Jersey defenses for 59 catches for 897 yards and 13 TDs, four interceptions on defense including a Pick Six, two touchdowns rushing, a touchdown pass, a kickoff return touchdown and a punt return touchdown as a junior, the state Gatorade Player of the Year.
Parks may be the biggest target, literally and figuratively, a 6-3, 305 trench monster, quick and disruptive inside for state champion Brother Rice. Last season he piled up 23.5 tackles for loss.
His recruitment becomes even more crucial for the Ducks after missing out on Kasi Currie and Marcus Fakatou earlier in the month. With Parks coming off a high-momentum visit to Notre Dame, Lanning and D-line coach Tony Tuioti get the last chance to make a lasting impression.
Mailangi is a four-year starter at tackle for the Monarchs, a Polynesian Bowl All-American at 6-3, 350. A veteran of the camp and clinic circuit, the Ducks are battling UCLA and Cal for his commitment.
