From rookies Bo Nix and Bucky Irving to veteran stars like Penei Sewell and Justin Herbert, former Ducks are making names for themselves at the next level as they rapidly take over the NFL. However, not everyone's future in the league is guaranteed – especially when it comes to which team they will play for next season.

Oregon's only Heisman winner, Marcus Mariota, has reached the end of his contract with the Washington Commanders. Former Oregon tight end Juwan Johnson has reached the end of his current contract with the New Orleans and Oreogn's former star safety Jevon Holland has reached the end of his contract with the Miami Dolphins.

So, as the 2025 offseason unfolds and the upcoming season rapidly approaches, where will these former Ducks find themselves in the next year?

Jevon Holland was selected 36th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft after a standout career for the Oregon Ducks. Over the last four seasons, he has shown that he may have been undervalued as a second-round draft pick. Holland is expected to be one of the most highly sought-after free agents this year.

  • 301 total tackles (219 solo, 82 assisted)
  • 25 pass deflections
  • 7 stuffs (15 stuff yards)
  • 5 interceptions (163 yards, 1 touchdown)
  • 5 forced fumbles
  • 5 fumble recoveries
  • 5 sacks

Juwan Johnson was highly overlooked during the 2020 NFL Draft and actually ended up as a free agent after going unselected. Since signing with the New Orleans Saints on April 27, 2020, Johnson has proved that he belongs in the league.

  • 146 receptions
  • 1,622 receiving yards
  • 18 receiving touchdowns
  • 2 fumbles (0 lost)

Oregon's golden boy. The Ducks' only Heisman Trophy winner in program history. Quarterback Marcus Mariota. The former Oregon star was drafted 2nd overall in 2015 and has had a difficult time finding his place as a starting quarterback. However, Mariota's dedication to the game continues to pay off as he continuously signs new contracts and has turned into a mentor for younger QBs.

  • 1,361 completions (63 percent)
  • 16,184 passing yards
  • 97 passing touchdowns
  • 75 interceptions
  • 375 carries
  • 2,156 rushing yards
  • 18 rushing touchdowns
  • 21 fumbles (7 lost)

More Ducks will (most likely) enter the league when dozens of former Oregon stars wait to hear their names called during the 2025 NFL Draft which starts on April 24.
