Former Oregon safety Jevon Holland joins Kayvon Thibodeaux in New York

Former Oregon star safety Jevon Holland joins fellow Duck Kayvon Thibodeaux on the New York Giants.

Jevon Holland has been in the NFL for just four seasons but has already made a name for himself as an elite safety. The former Oregon defensive star shined brightly for the Miami Dolphins over the last four years, and now, he's headed to the Big Apple, where he'll join forces with fellow Duck Kayvon Thibodeaux.

After his four-year tenure in Miami came to an end, Holland was considered one of the most highly coveted players in free agency alongside other former Oregon players like Juwan Johnson and Marcus Mariota.

Despite battling through injuries, Holland was able to put up incredible numbers during his first four years in the league, including an astonishing number of tackles.

In his first year with the Dolphins, Holland was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after becoming a starter just a few weeks into the season.

Holland was selected by Miami as the 36th-overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft after spending just two seasons with the Oregon Ducks. Over those two years, Holland helped lead the team to a Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers before he declared for the Draft.

While in college, Holland recorded 108 total tackles (71 solo, 37 assists), 10 pass deflections, and nine interceptions for 72 yards and one touchdown. Holland also returned numerous punts for 244 additional ars throughout his collegiate career.

Now, Holland will play for the New York Giants, just his second team since being drafted by the Dolphins in 2021. Thibodeaux, who was selected by New York in 2022, has been with the Giants ever since that year's Draft.
