Oregon hosts Oklahoma State Saturday at Autzen Stadium, 12:30 p.m. PT on CBS TV and the Paramount streaming service. The Ducks are 28.5-point favorites over the Cowboys, 1-0 this season and 3-9 in 2024.
For cord-cutters, the Paramount Network is available on Hulu+ Live TV, FuboTV, YouTube TV or Direct TV. It's not included with Amazon Prime but can be included as an add-on subscription.
Tickets are available on the secondary market at ESPN, StubHub, SeatGeek, Expedia, and Ticketmaster. They currently range from $35-$337.
The two teams have met only once previously in the 2008 Holiday Bowl, won by Oregon, 42-31, a game made famous by Jeremiah Masoli blasting a Cowboy safety on the way to the end zone, LeGarrette Blount hurdling a defender for another.
Saturday's game has gained extra juice from a series of provocative statements by Cowboy head coach Mike Gundy who coached the 2008 game. He's moaned about Oregon's NIL prowess in interviews and press conferences, instigating a pregame war of words.
OSU starting quarterback Hauss Hejny is out after suffering a broken foot in the third series against UT-Martin in the opener, won by Gundy's squad 27-7. Redshirt freshman Zane Flores will make his first college start at Autzen Stadium.
In relief in the opener Flores hit on 13-20 passes for 136 yards. Senior wide receiver Terrill Davis proved to be their most dangerous weapon on offense, hauling in completions of 41 and 34 yards. Against the Skyhawks Okie State rushed for just 127 yards on 42 carries, while the Ducks were tough against the run in their opener against FCS Montanta State.
The OSU defense showed improvement in the opener, led by an active linebacker group. Wendell Gregory busted through for three sacks, while inside linebackers Bryan McCoy and Brandon Rawls combined for 25 tackles. Junior defensive end Jaleel Johnson, 6-5, 265 from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, posted 2.5 tackles for loss.
For the Ducks, Dan Lanning said Monday that guard Emmanuel Pregnon should be available for this game, while receiver Dillon Gresham remains out with a neck injury.
