The Oregon Ducks already have the No. 1 recruiting class in 2026 with 10 blue-chip prospects already committing to head coach Dan Lanning and his team. Most recently, Lanning got one step closer to adding yet another top recruit to his top-tier class.

Immanuel Iheanacho, a five-star-plus offensive tackle, included the Ducks in the two programs that are leading the way in his recruitment process. Alongside Oregon are none other than Lanning's former boss, Kirby Smart, and the Georgia Bulldogs.

So far, Smart and the Bulldogs have earned just four total blue-chip commitments from the class of 2026 (the No. 13 class in the nation) – including 3 four-star prospects and 1 three-star prospect.

Meanwhile, Lanning and the Ducks have earned commitments from 2 five-star prospects, 6 four-star prospects, and 2 three-star prospects from the class. Oregon also has the No. 5 class of 2025 recruits while the Bulldogs currently sit at No. 3 in the nation.

Iheanacho, at 6-foot-6.5 and 345 pounds, is a massive presence on the offensive line for his high school team – Georgetown Preparatory School in Rockville, MD. The offensive tackle is set to play in the Under Armour All-America Game before his high school career officially ends.

Even with his massive build, Iheanacho also plays basketball for his high school and has a surprising level of explosiveness off the line. His lengthy arms and powerful hands make him nearly impossible to bypass for pass rushers.

Most recruiting experts project Iheanacho to play tackle or on interior offensive line once he gets to college and many already expect him to have a great NFL Draft stock later in his career.
