Just a few days ago, five-star quarterback prospect Jared Curtis announced that he had canceled his official visits with Auburn and South Carolina after narrowing his search to the Oregon Ducks and Georgia Bulldogs.
Now, Curtis has announced that he will visit both programs in the spring, ahead of his official visits to both Oregon and Georgia in June. The class of 2026 quarterback is set to visit Eugene over the weekend of March 8-12 and will visit the Bulldogs the following weekend.

Curtis, who initially committed to the Bulldogs at the beginning of 2024, decommitted from the program after receiving more national attention from programs like the Ducks. Since then, he has expressed a great amount of intrigue in the Oregon program and head coach Dan Lanning.
With unofficial and official visits scheduled, the Ducks are looking more and more likely to flip Curtis' initial commitment to Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart––Lanning's former boss.
Curtis is the No. 1 quarterback in the class and the No. 2 overall athlete. He has garnered attention from the most dominant programs in the country but the Tennessee native has adamantly expressed his rapidly narrowing interest in the Ducks and the Bulldogs.
Over his freshman and sophomore seasons, Curtis amassed 303 completions for 4,807 passing yards and 52 touchdowns. The dual-threat quarterback, who has a similar playing style to former Oregon QB Bo Nix, also ran for 1,024 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground.
The Ducks, who will kick off their 2025 season on Aug. 30, are expected to start former UCLA starting quarterback Dante Moore following the departure of star QB Dillon Gabriel to the NFL Draft.
