Dan Lanning and Oregon football are working on landing one of the top transfers on the market right now in former five-star wideout Johntay Cook.

The Ducks are heavily pursuing the former five-star who recently entered the portal from Texas after just two seasons in Austin. He had eight catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns this season before entering the portal and he'll have two years of eligibility remaining.

Oregon is hoping he spends those two final years in Eugene.

Well, according to a recent change on social media, he is strongly considering that move. He changed his profile picture on Instagram on Sunday night that grabbed the attention of Oregon fans.

Cook is being courted by a number of programs and Oregon seems to be turning up the heat and this picture of him in a Ducks uniform has fans feeling like he may be leaning one way. But we've all seen how recruiting works and this could just be a troll and he's looking to make some waves during his recruitment.

There's likely still plenty of time before he commits so no one should be reading into this picture like a commitment is imminent, but it can't be a bad sign.

Cook would be the perfect addition to the receiving corps next season with Tez Johnson and potentially Evan Stewart moving on to the NFL. He could come in and have an immediate impact with Dante Moore throwing him passes.

Even though there's so much to play for and all the goals are ahead of Oregon still this season, next year's team could be equally as special.
