A tight screen to Jamari Johnson gained 13 on 2nd and 10. A five-yard run by Limar moved the chains. Moore scrambled for 17 yards down to the 8. A false start by Harkey pushed them back. '
On third and goal from the five, Moore missed Saleapaga in the right corner, so the Ducks settled for a field goal, good by former Beaver Atticus Sappington, 31-7.
With 1:01 to go in the third quarter, the Ducks had outgained the Beavers 433-112, ruahing for 200 yards and passing for 233.
Murphy missed again on a deep throw. On third down Daylen Austin cut down a Beaver receiver short of the chains, a crisp open-field tackle.
