Kenyon Sadiq is undoubtedly the best tight end in this year's NFL Draft class. After just three years with the Oregon Ducks, he had cemented himself as a certifiable star, and that has (unsurprisingly) brought a lot of attention as he heads toward the 2026 NFL Draft.
This week, Sadiq and seven other Ducks are participating in the NFL Scouting Combine, and a day before he ever took the field, news broke that he had already met with one franchise that is filled to the brim with former Oregon stars.
Sadiq and the Denver Broncos reportedly had a formal interview at the Combine, pointing toward the team's interest in the tight end who is expected to be a first-round pick.
Kenyon Sadiq could join Box Nix in the mile-high city
The Broncos, of course, are led by none other than former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, and have three other Ducks on the roster: WR Troy Franklin, center Alex Forsyth, and guard Calvin Throckmorton.
When Nix was still with the Ducks, Sadiq was just a backup tight end, but they still connected for 24 yards and a touchdown through the air in 2023. Sadiq also earned 12 rushing yards, 10 kick-return yards, and one tackle for Oregon that season.
To put it lightly, the reunion of Sadiq and Nix in Denver would feed families (in other words, both Duck and Bronco fans would be elated to see the two playing together).

Over three seasons with the Ducks, Sadiq amassed 892 yards and 11 touchdowns on 80 receptions. He also earned 42 yards on the ground and 28 total yards on kick returns.
At 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, Sadiq is not only one of the best tight ends in the Draft class but is also absolutely massive, and has only continued to grow (both mentally and physically) throughout his time at Oregon.

Sadiq and the other tight ends at the Combine will take the field for various drills on Friday, Feb. 27, and to prove their value to the NFL scouts, coaches, and others in attendance.
