For a seventh year in a row, the Oregon Ducks have seen at least one former player selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
With tight end Kenyon Sadiq and safety Dillon Thieneman taken in the first round last night, the Ducks are lined up to have yet another incredible showing at the Draft, and that includes on Day 2, when offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon is expected to hear his name called.
Pregnon, who transferred to Oregon ahead of the 2025 season, is one of the more highly touted guards in this year's draft cycle.
When ESPN's Matt Miller released his projections for the second and third rounds of the Draft, Pregnon's name popped up as one of the early names Miller expects to hear on Night 2.
Miller listed Pregnon as his 54th overall pick, going to none other than the Philadelphia Eagles, who boast one of the best offensive lines, if not the best, in all of the NFL.
Not only would Pregnon join one of the most elite O-Line groups in the nation, but he could quickly see himself inserted into the starting lineup, with the retirement of veteran offensive guard Landon Dickerson becoming more and more of an expectation.
"Talk of a potential retirement from Landon Dickerson should have the Eagles thinking long term at guard. Pregnon had fans in NFL scouting departments thinking he might go late in Round 1," Miller wrote.
While Pregnon didn't hear his name called on Night 1, it would come as no surprise at all if he was drafted during the second round.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning saw Sadiq go 16th overall to the New York Jets and Thieneman go 25th overall to the Chicago Bears, continuing the Ducks' and his own draft success. Now, he could see yet another star head to the league, and there are five more rounds after the second.
The second round of the 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. PT on Friday, April 24, and it will be immediately followed by the third round.
Rounds four through seven are scheduled to unfold on Saturday, April 25. The entirety of the Draft is available on the NFL Network, ESPN, and ABC.
