The Oregon Vs Oregon State rivalry has died down in recent years with the Ducks moving to the Big Ten and the Beavers getting left behind by conference realignment. While the rivalry hasn't stayed the same on the football field, the two schools have continued to face each other on the baseball diamond.
Fans of the rivalry were gifted the ultimate treat on College Baseball's Selection Monday when the committee sent the Beavers to the Eugene Regional to face the hosting Ducks. The matchup marks the first time the two schools will meet in a regional, and with the Regional In-State, PK Park may be a house divided.
While both fanbases anxiously await the Regional Matchup, Mark Wasikowski gave both fanbases the news everyone was waiting to hear.
Oregon and Oregon State to play home and home with neutral game in 2027
On Monday after Oregon saw the Beavers sent to their regional, Mark Wasikowski spoke to the media about the upcoming postseason. Mark Wasikowski revealed to the media in attendance that the Ducks agreed to a 3 game series with the Beavers next season with a home game for each team along with a neutral site game in Hillsboro.

For the fans who love bragging rights, getting a 3 game series next year couldn't be more exciting and rewarding. Baseball is the sport where both teams are near equals, and the 3 game set should finally give one fanbase bragging rights after the two sides split the series with a canceled game this season.
Coming off a year where the two sides will likely decide a regioanl, the tension should be incredibly high next season. Whichever side loses in regionals will have revenge on their minds, which couldn't make for a better set up for a rivalry looking to survive post conference realignment.
