Oregon football vs. Maryland final odds and a prediction

Will the Ducks improve to 10-0?

Here we are, folks. We're officially in the home stretch of the 2024 Oregon football season and the Ducks are three wins away from finishing the campaign with a 12-0 record.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves, though. There's still a lot of work to do.

On Saturday evening, Maryland comes to town and the Terrapins bring with them a lot of baggage, including a head coach whose seat is warming up by the week. The Terrapins already shocked a former Pac-12-turned-Big Ten foe this season, coming back to beat USC in College Park.

Will the Terrapins shock another on Saturday night? I doubt that, but they can hope.

Before we really get into predictions for the game, we're going to take a look at where DraftKings has the final odds for Saturday's game.

Line: Oregon -24
Over/Under: 58.5
Moneyline: Oregon -3200 | Maryland +1400

Basically, Vegas is expecting a comfortable win for the Ducks and I feel the same way. While Oregon has been known for offensive outbursts, at times, under Mike Locksley, I just don't see that happening against this defense at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks will just be ready for whatever Maryland throws their way and it won't be close from the get-go.

Oregon is going to punch first on a Dillon Gabriel touchdown pass to Evan Stewart and then that offense will continue to hum all game long.

Maryland won't have the answers and this one will be over by halftime.

Prediction: Maryland 13, Oregon 38
