The Oregon football roster was filled to the brim as the Ducks hunted down their perfect regular season and first-ever Big Ten title. After the Ducks' incredible season came to close, it was time for some of the veteran players to decide what they wanted with their futures.
While stars like Evan Stewart and Bryce Boettcher, who still had a year of eligibility, chose to stay in Eugene, many of the stars who had reached the end of their collegiate careers declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
As of Jan. 22, 2025, a total of 15 former Ducks had made their intentions clear and declared for the upcoming NFL Draft:
Derrick Harmon has become one of the highest-graded former Ducks in the upcoming NFL Draft class as his draft stock soared throughout Oregon's 2024 season. Harmon earned a resounding 45 tackles (27 solo, 18 assisted), 5 sacks, 2 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles throughout the year.
Offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. was a five-star prospect coming out of high school and a top-35 recruit overall. He immediately became a starter for the Ducks and then started in 41 consecutive games throughout his career. After his junior year in 2024, Conerly declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Star running back Jordan James continued his elite playing for the Oregon Ducks during his final season for head coach Dan Lanning. James was the first recruit to commit to Lanning when he first took over the Oregon program and now the running back is headed to the NFL. James earned 1,267 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground throughout his final year with the Ducks.
Tez Johnson immediately became a beloved player for the Ducks when he transferred to Oregon ahead of the 2023 season, alongside his adoptive brother Bo Nix. Throughout two years with the Ducks, Johnson had 169 receptions for 2,080 yards and 20 touchdowns through the air.
With a massive frame and lengthy wingspan, Ajani Cornelius was a force to be reckoned with on the Oregon offensive line. If Cornelius can build his strength and improve his technique, Cornelius could sky rocket his NFL stock ahead of the 250 Draft.
Jordan Burch was an instrumental part of the Oregon defensive unit during the Ducks' run through their first season in the Big Ten. Burch amassed 31 total tackles (13 solo, 18 assisted), 8.5 sacks, 5 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble throughout the year.
The fearless leader of the Oregon offensive unit Dillon Gabriel is heading to the NFL after an incredible six seasons at the collegiate level. During his single season for the Ducks, Gabriel earned 3,875 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and 6 interceptions.
Defensive leader and standout Duck Jeffrey Bassa declared for the NFL Draft after four seasons for Oregon. Throughout his final season with the Ducks, Bassa amassed 54 total tackles (23 solo, 31 assisted), 2 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbes, and 1.5 sacks.
After just one season for the Oregon Ducks, cornerback Jabbar Muhammad declared for the NFL Draft. While the star defensive back didn't see the same levels of production as he did during his career at Washington, his season was one for the books and he continued to boost his Draft stuck throughout the year.
Terrance Ferguson led the tight end room throughout his four seasons with the Oregon Ducks. Over four years, Ferguson amassed 134 receptions for 1,537 yards and 16 touchdowns through the air. During the 2024 season, his 43 receptions broke the record for the most by a tight end in the history of the Ducks' program.
Defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell played two seasons for the Houston Cougars before transferring to play for Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks in 2024. During his only season for Oregon, Caldwell earned 16 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble for the Ducks.
Despite some drama involving Traeshon Holden during the 2024 regular season, the wide receiver earned his place in the Oregon history books when wideout Tez Johnson was sidelined with an injury. Holden earned 718 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns on just 45 receptions.
Dontae Manning was a leader for the Oregon Ducks both on and off the field as the four-year starter stuck around in Eugene for his entire collegiate career. The cornerback earned 81 career tackles (57 solo, 24 assisted) alongside 13 pass deflections and 2 interceptions for 24 yards.
Marcus Harper II made a name for himself during the offseason before the Ducks ever took the field in 2024 and then he lived up to every ounce of hype he had built up for himself. During two years as a start and one season with significant playing time for Oregon, Harper allowed zero sacks on quarterbacks Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel.
After three years for the Iowa Hawkeyes, linebacker Jestin Jacobs played two standout years for the Oregon Ducks. Over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Jacobs earned an incredible 61 total tackles (32 solo, 29 assisted), 2.5 sacks, 1 pass deflection, and 1 interception.
