It's no secret that it never rains in Autzen, and now, it's no secret that the Oregon Ducks' stadium also provides a massive advantage for the home team.

After taking down the Ohio State Buckeyes in the regular season last year, with many Buckeye fans plugging their ears because of the roar from the Oregon crowd.

In fact, on ESPN College GameDay, analyst and host Pat McAfee claimed that Autzen Stadium provides the best home-field advantage in all of college football.

Longest home winning streaks in college football

  1. Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium, 18 wins
  2. Missouri Tigers, 15 wins
  3. Alabama Crimson Tide, 14 wins
  4. Boise State, 14 wins
  5. Indiana Hoosiers, 12 wins

With the Georgia Bulldogs losing to the Crimson Tide at home this season, the longest home-winning streak in college football was snapped.

Subsequently, the Oregon Ducks stepped into first place with 18 wins in a row at Autzen Stadium. Somewhat coincidentally, the Indiana Hoosiers, whom the Ducks were facing a few hours after College GameDay wrapped up, have the fifth-longest home winning streak.

So far this season, Oregon has claimed three wins at home, with victories over the Montana State Bobcats, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and Oregon State Beavers.

Over their first three home wins of the year, the Ducks won by a combined 169-23 points, absolutely dominating their opponent, allowing just 7.67 points per game and averaging more than 56 points of their own.

McAfee was undeniably correct when he said that Autzen Stadium provides the best home-field advantage in the country, and the Ducks had yet another opportunity to prove that to be true as they hosted the Hoosiers.
