Pat McAfee more afraid of his wife than the Ducks, picks Indiana in an upset

Even though he has picked the home team all season long, Pat McAfee switches it up, but for an interesting reason.

Pat McAfee had to know that Oregon is the better team in today's matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers, but clearly, he is more scared of his wife than Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks.

Since the retirement of Lee Corso, the former Indianapolis Colts punter has taken over being the final game pick of the show, and while he doesn't do the headgear pick, as no one will ever be able to replace Corso, he definitely makes a show of his pick. All season long, Corso has picked the home team, even when they didn't seem like the best pick to make.

All of that changed today, as for the first time all season, McAfee picked against the home team, this time the Oregon Ducks. However, the reason McAfee picked against the Ducks wasn't necessarily because he truly believed Indiana was he better team, but simply because his wife went to Indiana and is a Hoosier through and through, so that in turn makes him a Hoosier through and through.

McAfee went on and on about why he thinks the Ducks are so great and how much he loves Eugene, Autzen, the university, and even Dan Lanning, but he wouldn't pick the Ducks. It certainly seems like McAfee is a little more scared of his wife than of Oregon.

Oregon is the favorite of today's matchup between the No. 3 Ducks and the No. 7 Hoosiers, and every other member on the desk chose the Ducks over the Hoosiers. All McAfee had to do was go with the Ducks to make it a clean sweep, but now, he went with the family ties.

Honestly, it could make Indiana feel worse knowing that McAfee wasn't really picking them because he thought they would win, but because of family ties. All will be decided on the field in Autzen Stadium tonight under the lights.
