If you're a masochist, you probably went back and re-watched the Oregon football opener against Idaho to see where the Ducks went wrong.

Obviously you take any win you can get in college football these days, but a 24-14 victory over an FCS squad when you started the season ranked No. 3 is just unacceptable. It's even worse when you realize that the Vandals were down just 17-14 late in the fourth quarter and a late touchdown made the final score look more comfortable than it truly was.

But we're going to move forward and focus on the next game and that comes against one of the toughest Group of Five teams in the country: Boise State.

This one won't be a walk in the park either. Let's dive into some bold predictions.

3. Evan Stewart bounces back for 100-yard game

I'm still riding the Evan Stewart hype train even after a disappointing season opener when he caught three passes for 15 yards. It was a quiet debut for the former five-star from Texas A&M but he'll have a much louder Week 2 performance with his first 100-yard game as a Duck.

Tez Johnson and Terrance Ferguson, too, will have strong games, but Stewart will lead all pass-catchers in yards on Saturday night and he'll be the star of the passing game.

2. Oregon has two 100-yard rushers

So Oregon had no 100-yard rushers against an FCS team to open the season but it'll have two 100-yard rushers against one of the top Group of Five teams in the country?

That's right.

Jordan James will rush for 115 yards and a score and Noah Whittington, too, will break the century mark and add a touchdown of his own. The Ducks' run game will look completely different and more competent against Boise State than it did versus Idaho.

1. Oregon wins by at least three scores

Oregon needed a late touchdown to beat Idaho by two scores. This week, the game won't be in question quite as long and the final outcome won't be in question in the second half.

The Ducks will take a 14-point lead into halftime and then add another touchdown to the margin in the second half to cover the 19-point spread and beat the tough Broncos 45-24.
