Another win is in the books for Oregon football and Dan Lanning and like the first win of the season, this one didn't exactly feel that rewarding.

The Ducks needed a late comeback to take down a Boise State team that was hungry for a massive upset and was a couple of special teams plays away from securing one. Oregon beat Boise State 37-34, marking its second close win of the 2024 season against a non-Power Four opponent.

Lanning has to get something figured out to get his team ready for Big Ten play because no 2-0 team has dropped as far in the rankings as the Ducks, going from No. 3 to No. 9 in two weeks.

But not all is bad right now. Let's see which Ducks you should be buying stock in after Week 2.

3. Jordan Burch, DE

I could've gone a number of directions here on the defensive side of the ball, but I'm assuming everyone already has a ton of stock in Jeffrey Bassa and Jabbar Muhammad, so I'm going with former blue-chipper Jordan Burch who recorded Oregon's only sack of the game.

That's right, Oregon had just one sack on Saturday which was rather concerning but Burch was a menace up front, recording eight tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and two pass breakups. There's a reason experts believe he is the Ducks' defense's X-factor.

2. Traeshon Holden, WR

I was going to put Jordan James here, but that's another guy who I believe everyone already has plenty of stock of, especially after his first 100-yard game of the year.

No, I'm going with former Alabama receiver Traeshon Holden who kind of flew under the radar in the receiving corps this offseason but through two weeks, he's showing just how effective he can be. He caught three passes for 36 yards in the opener and then followed that up with four passes for 78 yards and a score against Boise State. He's rising rapidly in the receiving corps.

1. Evan Stewart, WR

Speaking of receivers rising rapidly, Evan Stewart is a guy who I've always had plenty of stock in but I feel more justified now that he finally broke out with Oregon in Week 2.

The former Texas A&M five-star had his first breakout game with the Ducks against Boise State, catching five passes for 112 yards and a touchdown and he looked nearly unguardable for the Broncos' defensive backs.

We are starting to see why he's considered a top NFL draft prospect.
