National Signing Day: Dan Lanning snags 5-star WR Gatlin Bair
By Sam Fariss
Dan Lanning continues to bring in highly talented fresh faces to the Oregon Ducks' program. As National Signing Day unfolds across the nation, Lanning's recruiting abilities keep shining.
Five-star wide receiver Gatlin Bair is the No. 30 overall prospect according to On3's rankings. On Wednesday morning, Bair signed his future over to the Ducks and Lanning.
Playing high school football in Burley, ID, Bair received offers from all over the country. He chose Oregon over other top-tier programs such as Michigan, Texas, and Alabama. He also decided to spend his next few years in Eugene instead of with his home-state team the Boise State Broncos.
At 6-foot-1.5 and 195 pounds, Bair is already the size of a collegiate wideout and will be an extremely valuable addition to Oregon's depth chart. He has also competed in varsity track during high school, highlighting his lightning-fast speed.
As National Signing Day progresses, Duck fans can already rest assured that their coach is brining home extremely gifted stars.
