The Ducks are going back to the NCAA Softball Tournament for the fourth season in a row and the 24th appearance in program history.

Oregon is set to play the Boston Terriers in the first round of the Normal Regional, hosted by the No. 2 seed Oklahoma Sooners.

Head coach Melyssa Lombardi led the Ducks to a 28-18 overall record at the end of their regular season but Oregon devastatingly lost to Utah in the first round of the final Pac-12 tournament.

The Ducks drifted in and out of the top-25 rankings throughout the season, struggling to find consistency or series victories over their opponents.

Junior outfielder Kai Luschar has been a powerhouse for the Ducks this season, leading Oregon in batting with a .423 average for 69 hits and 12 RBIs.

Luschar has a .980 fielding percentage with just 2 errors on the season.

This season means more for Oregon after senior centerfielder Hanna Delgado suffered a career-ending neck injury while fielding a fly ball.

Delgado played all four seasons of her collegiate career for the Ducks and became a leader both on and off the field for her team.

After Delgado’s injury, the Ducks rallied around their beloved teammate and specifically honored her on Oregon’s senior night.

As the Ducks head to Norman, hopefully, their impressive regular season, passion for the game, and love for each other can fuel a deep run in the postseason tournament.

Oregon is scheduled to play Boston on May 17 at 2:30 p.m. PT on ESPN+.
