The Oregon Ducks may have put the final piece in place for the 2027 recruiting class on Friday when elite linebacker recruit Brayton Feister committed to the Ducks live on The Pat McAfee Show. The coaching staff, was after Brayton Feister for a long time, and despite a delayed commitment timeline, the Ducks were able to add one last top-150 recruit to the class.
The attention was already starting to shift to the 2028 recruiting class as some of the top prospects are coming off the board before their Junior seasons. The good news for the Ducks is that landing Brayton Feister may put the coaching staff in a position to land a top 2028 recruit.
Brydon Feister could become Oregon's next target in 2028 class
While The Pat McAfee Show was focused on Brayton Feister, and the importance of the announcement for his future, he wasn't the star of the show. Instead, Feister's younger brother Brydon quickly became the brother everyone was focused on when Pat McAfee asked who the 6-foot-14 guy over Feister's shoulder was.

The 6-foot-14 guy is actually 6-foot-4, and the younger brother of Brayton, Brydon Feister. Just like his older brother, Brydon Feister is an athletic freak with his size, and the fact that he's a two-time state wrestling champion in addition to his accomplishments and ability on the football field.
According to Rivals' Steve Wiltfong, Miami, Georgia, and in-state Ohio State are among the programs emerging for the younger Feister.

He is a 6-4, 245 and a two-time state wrestling champion, and he wants the NFL. Miami, Georgia and Ohio State are a few of the programs already emerging in his process.

While other programs may have gotten off to a better start in Feister's recruitment, if Brayton's commitment holds, the Ducks are the only program that can offer Brydon the chance to play with his brother at the college level.
According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings for the 2028 class, Brydon Feister is the 648th ranked player in the Country, the 49th ranked linebacker in the class, and the 26th ranked player out of Ohio State. While Feister is ranked as a 3-star recruit, that should quickly change, and the programs pursuing him prove he's ranked too low.
The coaching staff has already offered Brydon Feister, which is a key first step in trying to reel in a commitment for the 2028 cycle. Oregon could end up pulling off a rare feat as they paired Toa Satele and Brayton Feister in the 2027 class, and they could do the same with Satele's younger brother and the younger Feister.
