What in the world did he just get done? This is probably what a lot of Oregon football fans are thinking right now, as running back Noah Whittington is going viral right now for the best reason possible. In the first half of the Oregon showdown against Minnesota, the RB recorded maybe the best TD of the year.

Whittington took a handoff from quarterback Dante Moore and it looked like he was going to get stopped after a short game. Instead, Whittington went full Beast Mode like he was Marshawn Lynch and broke countless tackles.

Seriously, how did he pull this off? Whittington never stopped moving his legs and he simply was not going to go down. Oregon fans were left speechless following his 40-yard touchdown run, and the slow-motion view of things somehow makes things better:

Oregon RB Noah Whittington just scored arguably the best TD of the year in college football

That's just unreal, with his epic TD run starting at the 32-second mark in the clip above. What's even more incredible from this play is that Whittington nearly cost himself and Oregon big time with a mental mistake. He appeared to start celebrating too soon, as he fumbled the ball before crossing the goal line.

He was able to regain possession momentarily before fumbling the ball out of bounds once again. The play went to a review and everyone inside of Autzen must have been worried sick that his epic TD run was going to be taken off the board because of a mental mistake.

Thankfully for Oregon and Whittington, the call on the field was confirmed and he probably breathed a huge sigh of relief. Had it gotten overturned, you better believe that Dan Lanning would have let him have it on the sidelines. Instead, Oregon is dominating Minnesota and as of this writing, it looks like they're going to cruise to a win. All is going according to plan for Lanning and his staff in this one.
