The NFL is finally figuring out exactly why Oregon fans are so in love with Tez Johnson. The former Ducks wide receiver has joined his former college teammate Bucky Irving in Tampa Bay and has taken the Buccaneers by storm.
In the Bucs' third preseason game of the year, Johnson led the team in receiving with eight catches for 58 yards and one touchdown. Following his TD, the former Duck had a celebration that will be nearly impossible to forget.
Come for the Tez Johnson TD.

The pictures from Johnson's celebration looked too good to be true as the wideout went perfectly perpendicular to the field as he completed a flawless round off into the jaw-dropping back flip.

After not playing in Tampa Bay's first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, Johnson has made sure head coach Todd Bowles never makes that mistake again. In his NFL debut, Johnson earned 24 yards, for the third most by a Buccaneer wideout against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While Johnson may have had memorable celebrations while playing for the Ducks, none of them left fans across the country completely speechless like this one. While he has likely earned a spot on the Buccaneers' 53-man roster, he also might have earned a recruiting call from the United States gymnastics team.
Safe to say Tez Johnson made the Buccaneers 53-man roster.

Johnson was selected 235th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Since then, he has made sure every team that passed on him regrets their decision.
After transferring to play at Oregon, following three years at Troy, the former Duck earned a resounding 2,080 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns through the air. While Johnson may not have set any program records in Eugene, he solidified himself as an Oregon legend.
Johnson and the Buccaneers are scheduled to kick off their regular season on Sept. 9 at noon with a game against the Atlanta Falcons.
