Duck fans, take a breath. On Monday afternoon, it was announced that Tez Johnson's injury during the Michigan game was not season-ending. In fact, ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that Johnson could be expected to return in the next couple of weeks.

Johnson went down hard against the Wolverines after completing an 11-yard reception and gaining the first down. He immediately went to the injury tent on the sidelines and just a few moments later was seen heading to the locker room.

The Ducks' leading receiver was seen on the sidelines in street clothes and with his right arm in a sling later in the game. On Sunday, less than 24 hours after Oregon defeated Michigan, Johnson shared a post on his Instagram story that made the concern grow for his injury status.

Head coach Dan Lanning, quarterback Dillon Gabriel, and other teammates had yet to share an update on the wideout's status. However, as soon as Thamel reported that the possibility of Johnson's return was real, Oregon fans collectively breathed a sigh of relief.

Johnson leads the Ducks' receiving corps with an astounding 649 yards and 8 touchdowns through the air. Last season, his first year on the Oregon roster, Johnson only trailed Troy Franklin in receiving yards and touchdowns for the Ducks.

The No. 1 Oregon Ducks are scheduled to host the unranked Maryland Terrapins in Week 11. Johnson will most likely still be sidelined for the home game. Trying to fill the hole left by Johnson's absence will be fellow wide receivers Evan Stewart, Traeshon Holden, Justius Lowe, and more.
