Providing the only hard Oregon football news prior to the opening game, the Oregon video team's "Under Construction" series offers a close-up, quick-cut view of the team's second scrimmage and the mental and physical preparation for the 2025 season.

If fans watch close and freeze the video on all the relevant details, they can witness glimpses of what Oregon's offense and defense might look like tomorrow when the Ducks take the field against Montana State, 1 p.m. PT at Autzen Stadium, televised on the Big Ten Network.

Oh, good news: YouTube TV and Fox have resolved their carriage dispute, so subscribers will be able to stream games on the Fox family of networks, which includes the BTN.

In the meantime, Scott Anderson and the Oregon video crew provide the only pictures and sound from Oregon practice.

Dan Lanning guards information closely, so this video is our all-purpose guide to the Ducks ahead of the 2025 season. In it fans can find a few clues, allowing that some of them could be misdirection.

Oregon's second and last scrimmage of Fall Camp breaks the huddle at the four-minute mark.

Dan Lanning urges the team towards a maximum, game-like effort ahead of the scrimmage. "You control your effort. You control your execution. Don't worry about how good he is. Don't worry about good your opponent is, how good the guy in your position is. Worry about you."

The Ducks place a lot of emphasis on leadership throughout the roster, players taking ownership for the team and its readiness. Defensive end Ashton Porter speaks up in a pregame huddle.

Dante Moore opens the scrimmage at quarterback. He rolls right and hits Dakorien Moore with a 30-yard pass, the five-star freshman from Duncanville, Texas diving to complete the play against tight coverage from Ify Obidegwu.

Freshman running back Jordon Davison (6-0, 236) burrows into the line for a short touchdown run. Freshman running back Dierre Hill and Louisville transfer tight end Jamari Johnson make big gains on screen passes, Johnson behind a big block from freshman offensive lineman Douglas Utu.

Brandon Finney and Dillon Thieneman knock away passes. Moore hits senior wide receiver Gary Bryant for 10-yard touchdown at the back of the end zone.

The Ducks look ready, physical and spirited. We'll know for sure tomorrow afternoon. Oregon fans will be looking for a strong start, consistency and execution from Dante Moore, and a defense that can shut down the running game.

Scott Anderson's camera suggests that the mental preparation has been excellent. The Ducks look ready to hit somebody else.
