Oregon Ducks Mariota, Olomu Make USA Today Sports All American Team
USA Today Sports has announced their first and second team All Americans from the 2014 College Football season and some familiar names to Oregon Ducks fans are on the First Team. At the top of the list is Junior Quarterback Marcus Mariota on Offense. On Defense, also a first team choice, Senior Cornerback Ifo Ekpre- Olomu. Both players had a key in leading Oregon to the number two ranking in the country and a berth in the first College Football Playoff.

The Oregon Ducks were among six teams with two players to make the list. Florida State led with five selections including First Team talent Tight End Nick O’Leary and Safety Jalen Ramsey. Alabama had four selections including First Team Wide Receiver Amari Cooper. The Pac-12 also had some selections in the first round including Arizona Linebacker Scooby Wright and UCLA Linebacker Eric Kendricks as First Round selections. Second Round selections included USC Defensive Lineman Leonard Williams and Washington Linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha.
Overall the Pac-12 had eight selections on the list. One name missing was Florida State Quarterback Jameis Winston who will face the Oregon Ducks and Quarterback Marcus Mariota in the Rose Bowl on January 1st. (2pm PT, ESPN)
