Oregon Ducks Bralon Addison Named Pac-12 Player of the Week

It has been a few years coming for Wide Receiver, now Return Man Bralon Addison who on Monday

was named Pac-12 Player of the Week

. After sitting out the 2014 season with a knee injury, Addison has shown in two games that he can be a big contributor to the Oregon Ducks in 2015. Against Michigan State he returned a punt 81 yards for a touchdown which helped to give the team a chance for a comeback in the end. His return tied the score at 14 keeping Oregon in the game at the time.Oregon would lose by three points to the Spartans 31-28.

It was the Oregon Ducks thirty-third non-offensive touchdown since 2010, a number that currently leads the nation. Addison also led the team in receiving with one-hundred thirty eight yards off seven catches from Quarterback Vernon Adams. He averaged eighteen yards per catch to go along with the punt return. The Junior ranks 14th in the country averaging over twenty yards on punt returns so far this season.

Addison stepped up in a big way on the road for the Oregon Ducks helping lead Oregon to over four-hundred yards of offense, but it was their lowest output in the category since losing to Stanford on November 7th, 2013.

Oregon returns home 1-1 on the year and will face Georgia State on Saturday for an early start time.
