The Pac-12 Conference has been around for 100 years and they are doing a breakdown for their All Century Team, and although many of the student athletes on their list are recent, some of the big names are more than memorable. The list also includes several Oregon Ducks that fans can vote for. Of course, Quarterback Marcus Mariota tops the list for Oregon on Offense. Tight End Russ Francis is also one to be considered. However, Francis is up against some pretty impressive competition including Todd Heap, Rob Gronkowski, Mercedes Lewis and Fred Davis. Oregon is also well represented on Defense.

Defensive Tackly Haloti Ngata, now with the Detroit Lions tops the list for the Ducks on D alommg with Cornerback Mel Renfro and Speedster De’Anthony Thomas, also in the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs in the category of Returner. By far, as far as the voting through November 19th, Mariota is the clear favorite in the Quarterback category ahead of some pretty big names including John Elway and Jim Plunkett from Stanford, Troy Aikman from UCLA and Warren Moon from Washington.

There is one additional category that has yet to be revealed. Head Coaches will be open for a vote on November 24th. I expect that one (or two) will be from the Oregon Ducks including possibly Chip Kelly and Mike Bellotti. Rich Brooks would also be a possibility to make the list among the top coaches in the Conference over the last hundred years.
