While former Oregon Infielder Ryon Healy is making noise of his own in Oakland, Stephen Nagosek has had just ten appearances in his Professional career with the Boston Red Sox in their minor league system. He has been impressive so far.
With the Lowell Spinners, Nagosek has thrown 13 1/3 innings, struck out 19 allowing 3 runs and just hits in that span according to SoxProspects.com. He has given up just seven walks and opponents are hitting just .196 against him. His ten game stint with Lowell came to a close and Stephen Nagosek was promoted to Greenville.
Very excited to take the next step!! Thank you @LowellSpinners for everything but now it's on to @GreenvilleDrive. One step closer #GoSox🇺🇸

The move up to Single A also means a change of State for Nagosek. He will likely close out his fist season as a Professional in South Carolina. He joins a team that is hovering around the .500 mark and currently seven games out of first place in the South Atlantic League Southern Division.
Nagosek is one step closer to the Big Leagues and with the move will likely have to prove himself at the Single A Level.
