UC Davis Cornerback Patrick Wells Suspended From Football Team
The UC Davis Football team is coming to Eugene without one of their most experienced Defensive Players who was suspended from the team last week.

Senior Cornerback Patrick Wells started in fifteen games last season for the Aggies, but will not be on the field on Saturday against the Oregon Ducks. Wells had a Domestic Dispute filed against him and was arrested last weekend according to Fox 40 in Sacramento.
Wells also faces being dismissed from the team completely if the charges against him hold. UC Davis, similar to Oregon have yet to start Fall Classes. Wells posted bail and is no longer in custody, but his Senior Season will also not start with his team mates at Autzen Stadium this weekend.
The UC Davis website lists four under-classmen at the Cornerback position. Isaiah Olave has the most experience, but was injured last season. Converted Wide Receiver Josh Januska is a new comber to the Defense. Cornerbacks Coach Wes Nurse likes the talent entering the season, “Anytime you get experience in college football, no matter what year it is, it’ll be beneficial for you down the road,”
With a very deep Wide Receiver Corps, they will UC Davis Defensive Backfield will have their hands full on Saturday as they look to build on early experience entering the season..
