The schedule that Oregon setup this season was big, big enough that early season failure would help to build the team into better competitors. They would learn from mistakes to get better and after losing to Texas and Florida to open the 2016 season, Jim Moore has made sure the team found the right track.

Last weekend the Oregon Ducks took care of Murray State, San Diego State and UC Davis. They swept all three teams in straight sets, which is a good way to rebuild winning momentum. Young players earned valuable minutes and it showed. On Monday the Ducks took to the road for the first time this season and faced Seattle.

Freshman Ronika Stone had ten kills and two blocks in a 3-1 Series win. After a rough first set, Oregon put it together with back to back set runs leading to their fourth straight win of the season after a rough start.
