Grasu and Tyner Will Not Play For Oregon in Pac-12 Championship Game vs Arizona

Oregon Ducks Senior Center Hroniss Grasu will miss his third straight game and has been listed as Out for tonight in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Arizona according to Aaron Fentress from Comcast Sportsnet Northwest.Following the injury suffered several weeks ago against Utah Grasu has said he will be back in an Oregon Duck uniform before his career is over.

More from Autzen Zoo

Grasu has been listed on the Oregon Ducks Depth Chart every week since the injury and Offensive Lineman Hamani Stevens has done a good job filling in for Grasu while he has been out. Oregon will likely look to Stevens again tonight against Arizona. The Oregon Offensive Line has played well over the last seven weeks since the loss to Arizona and are progressively getting more healthy as the season continues.

The Oregon Ducks will also be without Running Back Thomas Tyner who has been out with an injury from the Washington game. From what Oregon has done offensively with Running Back Royce Freeman, Tyner would have been an added compliment in the biggest game of the season against Arizona. However Freeman has shown he can carry the load and I would not discount an added ‘wrinkle’ on Offense for Oregon tonight against the Arizona Defense.

The Oregon Ducks and Arizona Wildcats kickoff in the Pac-12 Championship Game at 6pm PT on Friday night on FOX. AutzenZoo will have Live Coverage starting at 5:30pm Pacific Time.
