Oregon Ducks Look to Rebound Against Arizona State
On Thursday Night the Oregon Ducks lost the battle against Arizona State from the beginning. A slow start once again plagued Dana Altman’s team as Arizona started the game on an 11-0 run. Oregon battled throughout, and managed to tie the game several times but the never were able to secure the lead. The Wildcats went inside on Oregon to the tune of thirty two points, twenty in the first half.

Oregon Senior Joseph Young was unable to land shots going five for fourteen for the game. The Ducks will look to rebound on Saturday against a smaller team in Arizona State. The Sundevils enter at 8-7 on the season and 0-2 in the Pac-12 Conference. Junior Getty Blakes leads the team with eleven points and four rebounds per game.
The Ducks have had several players this season step up in big situations, including Young, Freshman Dwayne Benjamin and on the Defensive end Jordan Bell can become the all-time leader for blocked shots on Saturday with one block. He has quietly climbed the Oregon Ducks History book this year and is currently tied with former player Tony Woods for the most all-time. Last season Oregon had one-hundred eighteen blocked shots as a team.
