Oregon Can’t Stand Up to Second Half Run by Washington, Fall to Huskies
The Oregon Ducks fell on Sunday night at Washington after a second half surge allowed the Huskies to take the lead and put the game away with free throws. Oregon was able to say in it close to the end and had a ten point lead entering halftime, but the Defensive effort from the first half fell apart.

Washington shot better than fifty percent for the game from two point range.. and beyond the arc. Four players ended up in double figures for the Huskies. Andrew Andrews led all scorers with 21. Nigel Williams-Goss(20), Robert Upshaw(12) and Donaven Dorsey(13). If Washington made all of their free throws it would have been a run away victory.� As a team they missed thirteen free throws.
Oregon was off to a fast start with a 23-2 run leading to the seven minute mark in the first half. In that span the Ducks had five three-pointers and three dunks, led by a jam by Dwayne Benjamin that is Sportscenter worthy. Washington fought back out of the gate in the second half going on a 20-8 run of their own.
The Oregon Ducks usual� leading scorer Joseph Young was held to eight points. Dillon Brooks led Oregon with sixteen points. Dwayne Benjamin led for Oregon in the loss with fifteen off the bench.
The Oregon Ducks now fall to 2-3 in the Pac-12 Conference and return home this week for games against USC on Thursday(8pm Pacific Time, Pac-12 Networks) and UCLA on Saturday(1pm Pacific Time, CBS)
