It appeared that Oregon had figured it out. In a game where they again fell just short, the stepping stones were there to grow from. Katelyn Loper shot fifty percent from beyond the arc for the first half hitting three of her six shots, better than Washington shot from beyond the arc as a team(1-2). However, it was not enough as the Ducks fell to 1-3 in the Pac-12 and 8-9 overall in Kelly Graves first season as Head Coach.

Jillian Alleyne was back to her double-double self, notching her third in a row and scoring twenty three points to go with sixteen rebounds leading all scorers in the loss to the Huskies. Loper, off the bench, had four three point shots and sixteen points for the Ducks. Oregon trailed by as many as fifteen points early before taking the lead before halftime from a Loper three point shot.
The second half would see Washington State take the lead for good with just over two minutes left with a three pointer and two shots off a foul. Drea Toller had a career high for Oregon shooting seven for fourteen on the afternoon.
Oregon now hots the road to take on Arizona and Arizona State this week. The matchup with the Sun devils is early on Friday at 10am Pacific Tine onĀ Pac-12 Networks. Sunday against the Wildcats is set for Noon on Pac-12 Networks.
