Oregon Basketball: Another Milestone Awaits Joseph Young This Week
The Oregon Ducks have won three of their last four games and will look to pick up two wins this week against Washington and Washington State at home. Dana Altman’s club lost to the Huskies and Cougars on the road just a few weeks ago. Oregon Senior Joseph Young is also close to hitting another milestone this week. With just thirty points he will have hit two-thousand points in his NCAA Division I career.

Oregon has found a way to get back to relevancy this season after putting up a solid performance on both sides of the ball against UCLA last weekend in front of a National Audience on CBS. The game against Washington on Wednesday will be on ESPN2 and will be another opportunity to show what the Ducks can do.
Oregon has been led in part this season by Freshman, who are responsible for close to forty percent of the team’s scoring. The leading scorer role has also been shuffled from game to game. Against Arizona State last week it was Elgin Cook with a big game and twenty-two points. Last week against UCLA it was Dwayne Benjamin with sixteen points to lead the Oregon Ducks.
Oregon is now 5-4 in the Pac-12 and wins this week are important. Oregon has just four games left at home this season and will play out the remainder of the Pac-12 season on the road. Oregon and Washington tip off at 6pm Pacific Time on ESPN2.
