De’Anthony Thomas: Oregon Ducks National Signing Day Reviewing 2011

De’Anthony’s speed and athleticism was on display very early. Even though he had a rough start against LSU he proved himself to be a weapon whenever he touched the field. His speed was elite, his playmaking ability was unforgettable. DAT not only ran by people he was wise enough to wait for plays to develop and for blocking to set up. He contributed on special teams and was very underrated as a blocker out on the edges. His health in his final season is really the only blemish in his time at Oregon.

De’Anthony has already left school and was named to the All-Rookie Team as a returner for Kansas City this year. Chiefs fans love De’Anthony and his blocking has been noticed on the next level. His biggest game as a Chief was his last, at home against San Diego he contributed in all three phases of his game, rushing, receiving and returning.
